We had a fantastic evening with two interesting and engaging talks. 15 attendees and free Pizza!!

The talks were as followed:

1. Dave Oxley (@oxleymeister) – Don’t Leave Things to Chance – Dave is a Director of Quality at Intel Security and is very passionate about ensuring everything that is delivered to customers is of the best possible quality. He has also recently authored and presented a course in Software Testing to students at the Buckinghamshire University Technical College and has also been known to appear on the lineup at BCS SIGIST Conference in London. This talk is the one he presented at SIGIST in December 2014 about testing as early in the process as you can.


2.  Jonathon Wright (@jonathon_wright) – Test Automation in the Cloud  – Jonathon has over 15 years of international automation experience with a number of global organizations; including Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, Hitachi Consulting, Thomson Reuters, Xerox, New Zealand Lotteries Commission, Unisys and Siemens. He’s a serial blogger on Test Automation as a Service (TaaaS.net). Jonathon also contributed to the best-selling book “Experiences of Test Automation: Case Studies of Software Test Automation”. He is the founder of Automation Development Services (Automation.org.uk) as well as presenting at various international testing conferences, such as Gartner (London), STARWest (California), STAREast (Orlando), Fusion (Sydney), ANZTB (Melbourne), EuroSTAR (Gothenburg and Dublin), HP Discover (Las Vegas and Barcelona), ADM (Prague and Istanbul), BCS SIGIST and Unicom (London).
